macOS Sierra

The following step by step guide is a complete walkthrough I am going through to installing a fresh version of macOS Sierra. Right now , the newest iteration of macOS is 10.12.1 known as macOS Sierra. Installing macOS Sierra on a regular PC is no different at all from installing the earlier version of Mac OSX due to the same Hackintosh’s development tools. This step by step guide will follow tonymacx86’s standard Unibeast method and it requires no experience and all of the basic installation and post-installation tools are available on tonymacx86.com.

Requirements:

  • A compatible computer : Not every computer will work with macOS, even with the help of Hackintosh’s tools like Unibeast. Yeah, I am lucky just because my computer still compatible to run smoothly from earlier version of Mac OS X, no upgrade needed! Still using the same hardware and it works out of the box, like a boss!
  • Unibeast: Unibeast is a free Mac program that modifies the official macOS Sierra installer, and writes it onto a USB drive. You can get it from tonymacx86.com but you must register first to download Unibeast (be sure to download the newest version).
  • macOS Sierra
  • An empty USB drive
  • Multibeast: Multibeast is a collection of kext files and software fixes that your Hackintosh will need to run properly, after the initial installation. Download it onto a USB drive. Be sure to download the newest version 8 of Multibeast, not any of the older versions.
